Feedback form 2010...not too shabby...

Mike and I both agree that LM Tri is by far one of the best run events in the Seattle area. I also would like to mention that many of the RTB members during and after the race were so friendly, it really made the entire experience a fun one! I really wanted to personally thank you both for helping me out with my lost chip situation this morning prior to the race. Both my husband and I really enjoyed such a challenging course, but we were more impressed with how well run this event was today!

Thank you again for all your help. Both Mike and I are planning to make LM Tri an annual event from now on!!

Thanks again, and we look forward to seeing everyone next year,
Mike and Melissa Vrbanac

I drove past the lake this morning and I started to cry and was AMAZED, remembering the wonderful day and things that happened there.  I have such small words to say, Thank you. They have a HUGE HEARTFELT FEELINGS BEHIND them.  If it hadn't been for ALL of you, your support and helping me feel safe and helping me believe (even when I couldn't believe in myself) that I can and did something incredible.  I am still amazed by what I did.   I can't wait to do this again and do it faster!  Thank you

I just wanted to thank you for such a great event but also say congrats to you on very well run race.  it is nice to know that race events can exceed expectations.  We just need to figure out how to get the beer in the park so we can mimic Lavaman!

Thank you for putting on the BEST tri I've done---today was my 10th triathlon...and I did the hill section!  Never gave up, never got off my

bike...I did it!   A year ago, I couldn't have done that..thank you for

giving me inspiration, motivation, kindness and the encouragement.  You two are amazing.

The tri overall was FUN!!  Well organized, challenging but not discouraging, entertaining (loved Toby at the start and the natives who had WAYYYYY too much caffiene this am), and really loved the fact MOST OF ALL, that this tri allowed me the amazing opportunity to see my friend Dee Ann Hibbard--without the inclusion of Kai and the Biggest Losers, I wouldn't have seen her...it's been 25 years since we last saw each other...we've been friends since 6th grade.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!--Tracy Brown

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the race. The lake temp was perfect! I really liked the deep water swim start, it was much less chaotic than the usual run in starts. The bike was a blast -- smooth pavement, gentle (and not-so-gentle) rollers, it felt like a closed course. The run was really, really hard, and I definitely felt like I earned it at the end, especially that last hill. Now I know what I need to work on :)

All of the volunteers I interacted with were super nice and helpful, and since pancakes are my favorite kind of breakfast, I couldn't think of a better way to wrap up the morning.  This is my first year of triathlons and I am always amazed at how open and friendly everyone is --  before, after and during the race.

This was my first olympic distance triathlon and I'm definitely hooked. I really hope you are going to put the race on again next year and (selfishly) that it doesn't get too crowded.

please pass along my appreciation to all of the other volunteers if you get a chance,

I just wanted to let you know that "I had SOOO much fun yesterday at the Lake Meridian Tri!!!! It was my first Tri and I participated in the Super Sprint. I was very nervous as I didn't know what to expect and I can't tell you how much it means to have the fans and volunteers cheering you on along the way. THEY are who encouraged me to the finish line!

I am so thankful that you gave us beginners the chance to "try a tri". I am now going to push myself to the Sprint distance and begin training immediately.

Thank you also for the use of your wetsuit, I guess I'll have to go buy my own now as I'll need it for the next competition I'll be in.

Thanks again for all your hard work and all the work the volunteers did!

I wanted to pass on my thoughts to you and your crew about the first Lk Meridian Tri.   I could definitely tell this was a race for the athlete, put on by triathletes.  I appreciated things like the rubber mats under water near the exit and the carpeting all the way to the grass!  Thank you for that.  Also, the course was beautiful and thankfully not multiple loops of the same thing.  The corners were well staffed with volunteers and police, there were no dangerous intersections left unmanned.  The run course was perfect, I loved the bike trail and being in the trees.  Plenty of aid and volunteers all along the way.

Obviously, I am very impressed by this race and will definitely recommend it to my triathlete friends for next year.  We needed a race like this in our area!  See you next time,

Nancy Abraham
